Family legend has it that my relatives came from Wales. This must be why I felt an instant attachment to Yarn Bombing on Hay-on-Wye.
This mysterious knitter/crocheter says “I am hoping to inspire people, regardless of age or gender, to take up crochet and knitting, and to share their art!” Sounds like a good mission to me.
I particularly love the wonderful crochet piece that resembles a tidal pool on the ‘honesty bookshop’. Honestly, why doesn’t every town have a book store like this?

Be sure to take the quiz on the front page (only open for another 1204 days!) “Do you appreciate the art and intention of yarn bombing?” Indeed.
PS. If you are in the Denver area, don’t forget about the Ladies Fancywork/Yarn Bombing book event tomorrow night at Fancy Tiger!

Hi Girrrls,
Thanks so much for the shout out I feel so honoured because you girrrls are fantastic. I ‘came out’ at my stitch and bitch last night and there were a couple of them that had never heard of Yarn Bombing / Storming and they loved it. There will be a lot more to share soon I feel ; )
I love all your works, and your names, and this blog is so funny too.
Keep up the good work,
Yarn Craft Rebel xxx
The book lands on our shores in a few days.. I am so excited..
Great photo–full of creativity. Beautiful architecture, a yarn bomb and an outdoor honesty bookstore. Love it. Love your site. Love the guerrilla life.
