Margaret Bennett has sent some photos for some more stellar knitting from Saltburn by the Sea. The level of detail is amazing! I can’t decide if my favourite is the man on the horse in regalia or Queen with her tiny corgis.
Is this the same pier that the Olympic knitting resides on? Anyone out there know if the installation is still up? Are they side by side or is this a replacement?

We were in Saltburn this week, and I can confirm the olympic athletes are all alive and well! They are all on the pier, whereas the pictures here of the Royal Family are all taken from above the cliff lift, so they’re not side by side, but a quick ride up the lift would take you there. Wish I’d known about the Roayals, I’d have gone up there if I’d known!
